One more problem I didn’t even know I had: bad office chair casters.

Last week I replaced my stock IKEA chair casters with a set of these babies (warning: a Polish website, expect many unexpected consonants). I never knew my chair can move this smoothly, I thought it’s a matter of a bad carpet. This is the FAQ (again, Polish, use a translator) that convinced me to get them and, according to my experience so far, it’s 100% on point.

PS: BTW, a “caster” is a thing and it’s not the same as a wheel. TIL!

Update in 2024: After almost 2.5 years the aftermarket casters gave out. They are clearly less durable than the regular ones, which makes sense considering the way they are built. Still not a bad run.
